A very beautiful park to stop at especially if you enjoy peace and quiet. Nice campsites, amazing clear water with a huge sandy beach with nearby shade for those not swimming. Some decent trails of various lengths. Definitely worth a visit.
First timer at this location. Found the entry driveway and access roads to the sites super narrow with not enough pulloffs to pass other vehicles. Especially when pulling a fair size RV trailer. The staff at the gate was friendly enough but didn't provide any direction to sites. For example, our camp site number was 204. However, each block of sites is distinguished by a letter and then the sites are in those blocks. However, your entry slip just tells you the site number and not the letter so we drove around for 20 min before I found a park ranger to ask. Over all the amenities are plentiful and well maintained with water station, 15A/30A sites, washrooms, showers and garbage and recycling. The fish cleaning house is excellent and cleaned often. The beach is long and wraps around the park shore and is as nice as any destination beach with soft sand. Overall a nice park, and will stay here again. Now that I have knowledge about the park, I'll make different arrangements for a different site

Always used to come here as a kid. Beautiful park. The boardwalk trails are well kept, maintained and very scenic. It Water is clear and blue. Overall enjoy out stay. Would definitely come back and hopefully soon. Watch out for ticks in June.
Such a beautiful, well maintained campground! We take a trip here every year with the fam, and it's always such a great time!
I think this is the “bluest” lake I have experienced in northern Ontario. I loved the fact that you can drive and park almost at the edge of the lake and take a stroll. You can also rent kayaks and canoes there. The water here is not very cold in summers which makes it a perfect spot for swimming. Highly recommend this for day visits and also camping.
This park has one of my favorite campgrounds. The beach is so wonderful. It’s large so even on busy weekends we’ve never had an issue finding a spot on the beach. The sand is fairly clean. The water WOW it is incredibly clear. Really nice lake to kayak or paddle board on. The campground is large with many large sites. They offer activities at times and have numerous things for rent. I love the boardwalk trail when my children were still in a wagon and really love the longer trail now that they’re able to walk more. I think this park doesn’t disappoint. A personal highlight for me is that the beach faces west so you often get a sunset on the beach almost everynight.
The lake was beautiful, clear and comfortable for swimming. The beach went on forever with picnic tables along the entire way.
Fun spot for family good times. Lots to do, hiking trails, bbq areas, swimming in fresh clean water, gorgeous sunset over the water, canoeing, cliff jumping, tenting, rv spots
